Jesus said, "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men." You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. "Nor do men light a lamp, and put it under the peck-measure, but on the lampstand; and it gives light to all who are in the house." (Matthew 5:13-15).

SALT purifies and preserves; LIGHT dispels the darkness and illuminates the truth. We realize that as the church lives its faith in the world we can have a purifying and preserving influence, we can help bring the Lord’s light where there is moral darkness.

The purpose of the Salt and Light Ministry is to keep believers informed about current moral issues facing our city, state and nation. We desire to educate, raise awareness, and increase involvement regarding issues that will affect the church, the nation, marriage and the family.
