Children's Ministry
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old
he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6
Did you know that when Jesus commanded his followers to go and make disciples (Matt. 28:19-20), he wasn’t speaking solely about making adult disciples? Children can be the Lord’s disciples as well. In fact, we are told not to hinder these precious young ones from coming to Him. Instead, we are to encourage them into a relationship with Christ and help them to nurture that relationship as they grow. Countless adult Christians can trace the beginnings of their spiritual journeys with Christ back to a Sunday School teacher, a VBS volunteer, or a Christian camp counselor. So, as you consider how you might answer the call of our Lord to go and make disciples, pray about the capacity in which He might want to use you to serve the Children’s Ministry at Living Truth. Take care not to under- estimate the impact you can have in the life of a child for the glory of our Lord and King. - Trish Campbell, Children’s Ministry Coordinator
